Happy Thursday everyone! I thought it was fitting to talk about my go-to travel outfits today because I am currently on my way back to FL for the holidays. Whenever I travel, I always have a few basics that I will wear every time, and so I wanted to share some of my go-to travel basics with Y’all.
This Jcrew utility jacket is one of my main go-to’s because it’s such a nice extra layer to have in case you are cold on the plane or like me and going from a cold climate to a warm climate. I purchased this coat a few years ago so I can’t find a link to the exact one but check out my favorite layering pieces post where I share some similar utility jackets!
Okay, guys, this sweater is amazing! I talked about it a little bit in last weeks post but it is so good I had to share again. It’s one of the softest sweaters I have ever owned and is such a great piece to throw on under a jacket or coat. One thing though is that it is more of a cropped style in the front so I would recommend wearing high waisted jeans or sizing up one to keep your stomach covered. I went with a Small and the fit is perfect the only thing is it’s a little short in the front but if that doesn’t bother you then I suggest just getting your normal size.
My go-to jeans for travel are either these Jcrew ones or my Levis. I just try to find the comfiest pair that I own and go with it. I know a lot of people prefer to wear leggings to the airport which you can totally switch out the jeans for leggings in this outfit and it would still be cute!
Finally, I will usually wear some sort of sneaker when I fly but these booties did not fit into my suitcase, so I have to wear them. These are my absolute favorite booties though! They are actually very comfortable and SO cute. I’d say they fit TTS but if in between sizes I would size down, I’m usually an 8 or 8.5 and I went with an 8 and they fit perfectly.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know if you would like to see some more travel outfits!
